here are some trucks with rockwells......

Any info on this truck?

I think you are talking about spidr on Pirate. He is running 49 Iroks with next to no lift. Drastic measures he took to make it happen though.

They dont hurt your ground clearance much. Only slightly worse than a 14/60 combo. And if you shave them... they are better than a Dana 60.

naw it wasnt his k5 i keep up with his build thread on pirate there was another one it was a camo k5 with a 6.0 in it with rockwells and 38in mtz and i couldnt find that pic on four wheelers site thanks for the link

Hello from Spokane. I see you're just over in Couer d'Alene.

I'm in the process of putting 2.5 ton Rockwells under a Crew Cab, with an excessive amount of lift. Kind of hate doing it as tall as it sits now, but it's strictly a mud bogger truck only, and is just meant to be big and tall and go through the mud. Not sure how it's going to turn out, but as the front sits it clears 54" Boggers no problem. For an all around rig would definitely like to be lower though.

Here's some local rigs I know of running 2.5 Ton Rockwells. Have you ever been to the Moyie Mud Bog in N. Idaho before? These trucks are up there every year.

Here's what I got my tires from; was built on a K5 frame and a 4-link setup.

This Toyota had them too, with 8-lug outers.

Hey Mountain explorer, I'd like to hear more about the Motie Mud Bog.

Thanks in advance.
