The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.

and fyi I prefer the firestone bag kits over air lift brand . think there a better quality bad . made more like semi bags crimped over end plates not rubber band clamped to the end plates.
search around ebay / sd truck like you did and others . I found my kit for almost 80 less than most others and I think it was amazon . . . must of been a old stock on some ones shelf at that price they wanted to unload .
and sure I will buy your air bags if you by my drive shafts for the STUBBY build . . . . .

I prefer Firestone as well. I had air lift on an old truck. They only lasted about 5-8 years.
Another for the Firestone bags here. Have had them on my '00 Silverado for over 5 years and still working well.
I felt like the forestones were pretty heavy duty stuff. 10/10 would buy again
OK....then how about a hand full of red sharpies and just continue the color pattern at the bottom of the bed to the front of the drivers door. There is about a 1" groove just below the windows that you could color all the way to the front of the fender. There you have it. You get to keep the two-tone.

Have you gotten that camper mounted yet? That would definitively settle the suspension issues. And free up yer brother's truck.
Your abilities to notice things in the back ground have produced some laughs in the past. However, your skills must be on a slight decline, as the last couple of pictures I have posted show the camper no longer in said "brother's truck". I have not yet mounted the camper in my truck, but will be fixing that this weekend.Have you gotten that camper mounted yet? That would definitively settle the suspension issues. And free up yer brother's truck.
As for my brother's truck, it will not be returning to him until I do an oil change and replace the water pump for him. I don't know when the water pump starting to "weep", but it was discovered under my possession so I feel I need to fix it before I return it. Plus, it's also do for an oil change, which my brother has no time for. So I wish to help him.
Does anyone know a simple way to calculate what the difference my mileage would be showing, now that I am running 285's? My trip odometer is now showing less miles than I know I am actually driving, and I want to try to find a way to more accurately track my miles for my MPG's.
I calculate and add the % difference in the indicated mileage. In my case the it's 8%.
