And it seems to me that those of us who are around lots of noise daily, have quieter exhaust.
It isn't how my teenage self thought it would be.
Right? My trains are loud enough, I want a comfortable, quiet ride in my truck.
My truck is plenty quiet, I still like quiet exhaust.
I used to do long trips in my old k5, it wasn't loud enough but the tires were loud.
Short trips is easy but spend a couple of days 10 hours a day and you will appreciate a quiet truck.
And no, I will not believe that you can't have power without noise.
Idling or just off idle on the trail is what drives me nuts.
Everything about my truck is loud. Exhaust, tires, fan, front driveshaft, fuel pump
Drive shaft is shortened and installed , stickers on windows , now just need to load tools the few spare parts I have , pack clothes and then leave after I drop my daughter off for her first day of school tomorrow.
Well, filled coolant on Duramax. Bled system and took for drive to heat it up good. So far no coolant leaks.
I'll let it cool for an hour or so and take it out on the 500rwhp tune and give it hell. If no leaks after that, I'll be good to go.

Whipped up a new front shaft since my other was getting pretty noisy. Gotta slap it on there, go over tools parts, pretrip the tow truck, gear up and headed out early Thursday morning
Only costed me 130$
Well this morning I came out to a puddle of trans fluid under the Blazer. T-case is overflowing with atf. Drained it but left plug out, topped off trans and atf starts running out t-case drain.

You can replace that seal in 2 hours. Don’t give up yet. Your duramax good now yeah?
