2018 last minute thrash.

What tcases you got? With all of us we can bang that out in less than 2 hours. And if it's a 205 or 208 it's easy peasy, I'll even bring my trans jack

I remember him having a 205 so it's that damn adapter seal right?

Should be two in there if it is like mine...

Well this morning I came out to a puddle of trans fluid under the Blazer. T-case is overflowing with atf. Drained it but left plug out, topped off trans and atf starts running out t-case drain.

Well BB is not gonna happen this year. I'll see you all next year.
I can see if you were driving it but you are towing.
Either get on it and fix it or just bring it.
As long as it's the only thing bad that you can see.
Common I have never seen your truck especially wheeling. You can make it

205 is off, the seals were melted to the coupler. Outside of the seals were spinning in the housing.

The new seals just slip in by hand, going to call Advanced Adapters since it's one of theirs and see what they say.

Good luck.
Hope to see you there.
Been a while.

Well AA gave me the answer I suspected, adapter is trashed. He said he has never heared of this issue unless it was ran dry. I'm thinking these unmarked seals were poorly sized and didn't have enough press fit.

Thanks Chris, but I've already called it.

While pulling this apart I've found a few things that need attention before wheeling again. Frame is tweaked enough that when I loosened the t-case/anti wrap bar crossmember the entire truck and drivetrain shifted at least an inch (think I lost a few years when it happened) I need to add some bracing (rock sliders) down the sides and redo the t-case mounts. I'm surprised that I didn't break the trans housing with the amount of bind that it was in. Headers are bent pretty bad, the ball collectors are crushed completely.

I've got 9 more days off for my vacation. Blazer's gonna get some love.

This sucks, but I have to say, Marty has taken one hell of a beating the last few years at BB. Who am I going to make fun of for big clown tires now, sad face.
