So, what all have you got going on there? 8.1? Any frisky goodies?

I am going with Sanderson headers on my 8.1 into square body, I was trying to avoid the low hanging full length headers but didn’t want to run the stock logs.

What are you doing about smog and did your power steering lines hook right up?

super sweet build.

Sanderson’s are the bomb. I’ve got a set on my Blazer, the shorties keep everything high and tight.

I got to see it in person this weekend. It’s looking good.

I like how they got the stock air intake to work. They definitely did a better job than I routing and placing the wiring and ecu. I meant to take pictures, but was so distracted with everything.

So happy that yours is up and running, don't know when mine will be out of the shop at this point. In other conditions I would have asked for a ride..... :)

Nice photos...I can id the Sierras, and what looks to be the area of Arches/Canyonlands Castle Rock area with the Manti-LaSal mountains in the background. The third one photo, though, has me stumped. Death Valley? Anza Borrego?

Always nice to see a K5 keeping up with those Jeep guys!

The third pic in Post #4 - my daughter standing on the bumper - is above Edison Lake. You can see Edison in the background of the first pic of Post #4. It is an easy route (the Jeep had crapped out) to a little creek, Four Forks Creek I think. We spent the day there unblocking the creek which had washed away the picnic table and bear box. I think we were the first ones there that year and the Rangers asked us to provide trail conditions. That was 7/7/17

Did you get the water jet pic location?!?!

All done except the exhaust, delayed by the covid... :doah:
Lame....

Kevin went racing so... I guess it was more essential. lol

What are the plans for the exhaust? What size pipe and what mufflers are you going to use? Are you running it all the way out?

Custom built by Bent and Twisted (Chico fab shop, long out of business) around 1998. I miss those guys....

The original design was built around a smaller winch (9k? vs. the current 12k) and looked so much cleaner. On my list of to-dos I do have moving it back an inch or 2.
