im gonna ride your a$$ on this build.

Personally I think you should just chill. Everyone's got a bone to pick with this kid, but maybe he'll prove us all wrong...maybe he won't. Why not just let him build his crap? I'm not talking about criticism here & there, but your comment makes it seem like you're just gonna be nagging and talking chit to him the whole time :haha:. That's just me...& I'll be watching the mayhem from the sidelines...

where's the HAZ?

Everyone has a bone to pick based upon the short history of stuff we've seen from him... remember when I first started on here? I did some stupid stuff (most of the time because I didn't know any better) but when people told me to fix stuff and I drug my feet then they really started riding my a$$... this pic bring back any memories?

If people didn't care they wouldn't say anything... as a 4x4 community I think the guys with experience just want to pass along any good info to keep everyone safe...

Anyways, I'm subscribed and I'll follow along...

I think it's amusing that everyone has a bone to pick with him...

His 1st sin was blowing off the advice he asked for, while being an ass about it...

His 2nd sin, and the REAL reason he still hasn't fully integrated himself around here is that he didn't drop to his knees and kiss CK5's collective ass while begging and pleading for mercy and forgiveness.

It was a year ago.

Howdiy straightened up and moved on, and no one else has...and some people just hate him for that. 'Cept me...

Caring and correcting someone when they do something stupid and/or dangerous, (which many would agree Howdiy did on his old truck) is a good thing. Constructive criticism never hurt anyone.

What twoslo4five0 has done is jump headfirst into a new thread about a new truck that, as far as I can tell, Howdiy plans to build the right way, and try to rip him a new one for no apparent reason.

I got all the front 2wd suspension bolts out today besides a few easy ones

I have to roll it inside our shop before I take it out

I'll be placing an order to diy4x in the nest few days

Edit: I just found these I think I'll get them

Edit2: Or I could just get this, I don't think I'll save much by the time I drive and go get the steel to make one

I have two sets of 47" 4 TC's so maybe I'll just stick with one position, I can always bolt it on and move it later

It's alright it's destined to happen in any thread I make :haha:

I'm seriously considering fake beadlocks, not even joking

They look cool and I have to live up to my name :eek1::haha:

But probably real beadlocks once I get money and before we take it up to Tennessee for some rocks

How much do a set of those run? I want to get some kind of beadlock before I hit some rocks

And also How much should I move the axle forward from the stock location? 2"
