Oh btw it'll actually smoke em' now...lol. I've got the strip leaving the school parking lot to prove it. rofl you should have seen the looks on the faces of the Starbucks drinking, BMW driving, Mommy and Daddy's money punks that pretend to rule the parking lot...it was hilarious especially since my friend was in his '89 standard cab thats almost laying frame and decided to join in. Ahhh the simple pleasures of a senior in h.s.

Anyone can burn out if they have an open rear end...

I know that I can hold a burn for almost 50ft with the open rear, but locked I can only manage like 15ft. I have 35"s and 4.10s.

But my 10b rear is likely going to break again if I keep burning out. And my lockrite has been clicking/popping/banging more lately, so I have been taking it easier on the street. But there is nothing like doing donuts in a parking lot! :D

Het Glen do u think i will be able to do donuts in my blazer wen i get my 14BFF with 4.10s an 31s or 35s?

Ya, but you need a locker either way. Although I think you might be able to pull one off with an open rear in the right conditions. :D

did you ever get around to flipping your shocks?

No, since they are empty and not doing anything it's not worth my time to flip them...when I get new ones I'll just put them on correctly.

Oh boy, here we go again....:doah:

chevy 305 is right, burnouts are easy in 1 wheel drive. Since i have a locker, i cant really burn my tires at all, only chirp them around corners. When i have the front end hooked up and the rear output in neutral, i can burn the chit out of the front tire (open front). Probably not good for the front end, but i dont care i was amazed i burned anything with 39.5's and 4.10's.

Man you guys are making me feel bad, I could never do a burnout open diff locked tire size doesn't matter, I guess my motor is just weak

I feel ya. I cant do crap with my 305 and I only got 3.73 gears.

I used to think my motor was weak cause I couldnt do a burnout. 3.73 gears, lockers and 35s and all it would do is chirp the tires. I didnt think that was right since Ive put a bigger cam, headers, an intake, dizzy and heads on it. put the same motor in a truck thats got an open 12b with 3.07s and 32s and I can white smoke the tires without power braking now.:D

4.10's-36's and a detroited 14 bolt, would smoke the **** outta them...

Thats with around 300hp, 330 tq

Spinning tires is just as cool as waxing your wheeler.

I don't have a very good answer for you, but for some reason, that's all people ever think about. After people at my school ask what lift/tires mine's got, they always ask if it can smoke the tires. I honestly don't know, because I've got 3.08's in 10 bolts and 39.5" tires. I'm pushing my luck already, so I don't want to do something stupid and not have a truck for a month. When I put a 14SF in and 5.13 gears, then I'll get my answer...

I'd like to, but I don't have the funds for a full 8 lug swap. So I'll be sticking with the 6 lug stuff; after all, this is my daily driver, and it never goes off road. I've got a K10 for that...

boy I tell you what cant nothing spin tires like my camaro:bow:  hell yea boy
