$350 for (4) 37" Goodyear MTs?

Oklahoma City, I'm pretty sure you've been to my parents' house before.
Chad! Damn yeah, I remember you well! How's it going? Had to check your profile to make sure it was you and saw your build thread instead and then it all made sense. :thumb::waytogo:

Yep, I remember our visit in your awesome shop. Edmond, if I remember correctly? Still got that Corvette under the covers? I still have pics of your build somewhere in my desk drawer.

I'm trying to remember the other members who showed up that day. I know one was Rocko but there was 2 or 3 more and I can't remember their usernames now. I think one of them was from Tulsa? The other was a giant dude who came with Rocko. I have the pic of all of us lined up. Just need to get the pics scanned.

All depends on the width of your rim selection.

You are correct, Edmond. I'm doing great man! Dad sold the vette shortly after you were there.:doah: That's awesome that you have a pic! I can't remember anyone that was there. I think that was 8 years ago or so... kinda crazy. I changed my screen name shortly after the pirate4x4 debacle. I still don't remember why I changed my sn here. I was banned from pirate the same time you were for saying something that was no where near ban worthy IMO. I was also successful in getting an entire university's (OSU) IPs banned from pirate after spouting that the owner couldn't ban every IP at my location. Ohhh the good ole days.

Oh crap! I tend to "forget" about that Pirate debacle. I do remember now that you mentioned the IP banning at OSU, too. :haha:
You could reregister on Pirate again. I did and go by my username again. I dont know how but I can still use my old username, too.
You are correct it was about 8, maybe 9 years ago because my daughter was just a baby then and she will be 10 in March.

Meanwhile, I will ask my buddy when his next trip to OK will be and see what he can do to pick up tires.

Randomly connected but I've been driving around on a set of these the last day in Kentucky clay mud and they wheel okay. Not boggers but decent. Keep you going at least.

I keep hearing they suck, but compared to BFG at tires and highway at's on my dd driver, I'd say the run pretty good. We ain't all driving in gumbo mud.

Whats the street drivability on these things, like noise, wear, staying true? seem pretty cheap, so I am thinking that theres gotta be a reason

I live about 10 miles from the trail worthy shop , thinking about heading up there. he sells the 37s for 75 each , will channel them for 150(total oer tireand cuting). he told a buddy that if he needed a replacement ever it was 65 for returning customers. trailworthy also sells tire and wheel combos . including recentering for your bolt pattern and backspacing. website says all tires 80% or better tread. but told my buddy that this latest shippment was mostly 90 % tread remaining.

i know where im gettin my next set of tires.450 shipped for 4 tires cant be beat.i didnt see bias ply tires.wonder if they are all radials.i never really liked the way the bias rode anyway.the radials run real nice.even without balancing the rims they still run pretty true.

The 36's are bias plies and the 37's are radials.

yeah i remember that.the bias always looked way fatter than the radials, but rode like crap on highway.it probably was the tread pattern that made me think that.

Ive been running the radials on the road for the last 6 or 7 months. Put a few thousand miles on them, so far so good except I came outside today and 1 was totally flat, haven't had a chance to check it out. I got mine from trail worthy fab. 1 had a cut in the sidewall and one was covered in tan paint, stupid military dudes painted a wheel with the tire still mounted, now its a super b*tch to remove

easy solution to the paint just use gloss black to cover up the tan and then you have permanent tire shine.

K30guy, aren't you located in Southern Kansas? Maybe I am thinking of someone else. Otherwise Trail Worthy Fab is just North of Witchita.

yup, just north of whitichitity, was gonna buy some 37 radials for the white truck at one time but heard they suck in snow so i didnt.

That military paint is good stuff. I tried a wire wheel, paint stripper and a trip to the dunes. I still have tan paint between the tread blocks on one.

As for the 36's vs. 37's: The 37" MT isn't anybody's favorite tire, but it doesn't receive nearly the hate the 36" Bias plys do. At this price point, it has to be the biggest bang for the buck.
