I thought you got around very well, especially for just having all-terrains on it.
But once you start going w/ more power, as already mentioned, you'll be more prone to breakage.
Everything I own gets a 14 bolt rear. I'll bet the one in that 454 Suburban for sale has 3.73's, but you can go to Pull and Save and get a complete 14 bolt FF rear with 4.10s.
If the 454 in that runs good, it might be worth it, but depending on what T-case you want to run, making the 2wd TH400 work can be more difficult or expensive than you want.
I suppose any way you look at it, theres no "simple" solution to getting it how you want. There will always be an upgrade left to do.
Look at me. I always feel theres something more to do or something to change. That Truck Blazer (the one with the 396 on 40's)... Ive had that apart and together so many times... 4 motors, 3 front ends, 2 rear ends, 2-4-6-8" lift springs, and 33-35-38-40" tires.
The Suburban... 2 motors, 2 trannies and T-cases, 2 rear ends, 3 front ends, 4 to 6" lift, from 9.50-16.5's to 35" BFG M/Ts.
The Orange Blazer... 6 motors, 2nd tranny/T-case, 3rd rear end, 2nd front end, 2-4" suspension lift, 4th set of tires.
As time goes on, I just keep changing my mind, and change things (sometimes because of bad/broken parts, but usually cause I just change my mind.)
But I look back and look at all the work I've done to everything, and I don't regret it cause (at least for now), I have what I want and how I want it to be. If you're anything like me, you get attached to rigs. Thats why I keep so many. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
