3D Printing Projects - Truck parts and tools

It wasn't a typo.
In the beginning you said it was too big to fit as one piece in the printer.
What changed?
It looks like a one piece to me.
The 81-91 map pocket is smaller than the 77-80. I grabbed the wrong one to start this project and made it for the older doors on the first part.

That's a tempting sale price. I've definitely got more than that wrapped up in my Ender 5 Pro after all the mods i've done. It has been going strong almost six years though. It used to be difficult to get these things to run well, now it seems you just have to follow the instructions. Almost consumer friendly... Almost.

Ok, I did notice the new one is a lot shorter

Once my new printer comes in I’ll give it a whirl.

What did you get?

Yeah. That's over 30mm beyond my print bed.

I did not want to think that, so I sent the new P2S away, never set it up. My friend that works at Best Buy offered me to use his employee discount one time, so I got the biggest one they make, H2S. Not only does it have over double the print volume, it also has the 350C hot end and the active heated chamber for printing stuff like PPS-CF.

Its not the high end multi nozzle unit, but multi color waste is not my concern really. I didn't want to be limited by size or material, and Bambu currently don't make a bigger one or one that does any hotter material. Buy once, cry once is the plan.

I also ordered a Voxel HEPA filter for the exhaust so we don't have to breathe the particles.

Part of me said it's a waste of money, to melt plastic, the other part of me said why I would I spend $800 to be disappointed. I also saw this, don't watch this guy regularly but the little I have seen of him has been somewhat interesting.

Understandable, I like to mod everything it seems, but not a 3D printer, I just want it to work.

From what I understand some people completely load their own software and void the warranty to open it up?

That’s me. I modify nearly everything but this thing I just want to work and not be bothered by it. Only mod I did on my elegoo was the octopi remote viewer and that was enough.

I’ve got friends that do the whole custom firmware and print heads and beds and what not and it’s cool but to much techy for me.

Yeah I actually had ordered an open 3D printer several weeks ago. A Longer LK5 pro. My nephew looked at it, and said, its huge but it doesn't have auto bed leveling. In order to add that you will spend a lot of time getting everything to work. He recommended the Bambu P1S if I just want it to work.

Metal printing is real. You can find printed parts in jet engines.
