4 link or radius arms

Slowly but surly is the idea.

This was just learning the pros and cons, now it's time to dive into the formulas and understand what is good.

Lucky for you guys I can pull up the excel calculator, and see the formulas used and what it takes to get a number. I won't need to ask any if little questions. :thumb:

I just want the travel and simplicity?

Put the god damn leafs in your truck and drive it till the wheels fall off!!!
How do you know you're not going to like these leafs?

Have you seen SBD's 1st gen? He kicks ass with some leaves. You have all the parts sitting in your garage ready to do the same :waytogo:

If you are going to get surly with us, I'm done. :D Being that way won't get you help.

I surely hope you are kidding.:haha:

I know I will like the leafs but will want more, one and done type change. Yes I have seen his videos and love them. If these don't sell probably until next weekend I'll stick with them

. I created this thread to learn and understand the different types of link suspension the pros and cons. I can't be the only one that is lost when it boils down.

Here are the pictures I promised. Not great, but you get the idea.

Sorry for the sidetrack but ktm, how has your frame held up to all the abuse?

We all know these trucks frames are weak and I know that you pound on yours pretty hard. Was just curious:dunno:

And just so I contribute to the original question, I vote for a 3 link. Ive never cared for radius arms, seem like they would bind too much to me and a 3 link seems to work out better on the front due to clearance vs. a 4 link. But Im still on leaves and don't plan on changing any time soon so I don't know much, just an e-observation:D

The only thing I did not plate, was the panhard bar mount. After 8 years it cracked the bottom of the frame. I pulled the engine and welded a custom cross member with panhard bar support.
