4 Link rear tech

well, they will make anything you want... and they do have this stock model..

if ya look around the site, they make all kinds of crazy stuff... I'm gonna start with the 2 underbed ones and see the pricing and how everything is... they should be pretty simple and hopefully sane pricing.. if that goes well, I may do the top ones, but I'm not even certain at this point if it'll get the bed ones..

gonna be challenging enough getting a high capacity fuel tank, spare, fifth wheel capabilty in and still have some usable space.. I drew up a couple sketches, just gotta see how it all translates real-world... I allocate space under the bed, at the very back of the rails for a good size air tank... definitely commandeering the York for this rig...

I really should edit the title to this thread cuz it veered away from 4 link tech so much...

I only brought up the toolboxes as to consider the weight for the bed with potential tool load on top of bed load. I would hate (and I know better) to see you make the new DD super awsomo and then see it squat after loaded with tools, towing gear, compressor, etc. :D

Saw that a lot with Baja trucks, garge builds that looked great and then they put in the tools, air, spare tire, yada yada, next thing you know their looking at stars. This was many years ago and I know things have changed in suspention setup. For a while I think they even sold that stupid looking lift for 2wd trucks (especially toyotas) called the pre runner.

One company I worked for used to run 1/2 ton trucks and utility boxes. They always squated in the rear badly after we loaded tools and materials.

that's one of the reason's I'm probably making all the flats removable alum panels, help out with the weight... lot more work, and coin, but I think it's gonna be the trick way to do it...

basically I'll do the same technique I used on all my console panels in the K5... Kert's panel mounts and countersunk allen fasteners...
