I went out this morning and tightened up every nut, bolt, screw, etc under the Blazer front and back. Springs were checked again, all bushings are new with new bolts and look/feel good. Pitman arm, drag link, tie rod nuts are tight. Ball joints are all new and look good, no excessive movement and the joints are lubed. I checked to make sure my wheels were secure to the hubs and the hubs were tight. The axle has all new bearings and races throughout and all bearings that need packing are packed. The Yukon locker appears to be working normally and there is lots of gear oil in the diff. The hydro assist is working as designed and there is not any frothing in the power steering fluid.
When in 2Wheel drive the truck drives nice and straight under acceleration. When going 30mph I let go of the steering wheel and it kind of starts drifting to the right but at no point at any time does it exaggerate the motion. It could have been the curvature of the road that made it drift a little. The point being. It acts normally when in 2Wheel drive.
When in 4Wheel drive and upon initial acceleration the truck will immediately pull a hard right. The steering wheel will turn about 3/4 of a turn before it stops and kind of starts to straighten back up. I can hold it straight but it pulls relatively hard. While driving at 20mph in 4Wheel drive it has light consistant pull to the right. If I were to let go it would pull right until I let off the gas. If I give it gas while already in motion, it will pull right a little harder then ease up as I let off the gas.
So it is directly associated with 4Wheel drive and is greatly exagerated when hard on the throttle. Slight when easy on the throttle but still noticeable.
I am stumped and don't know what to check for next. It acts like the right front wheel is turning faster than the left at all times and more so under hard throttle. This is pissing me off right about now. ANY suggestions would be nice. I will break down and take it in for an alignment if I can't figure something out soon and I really don't want to give up and let it beat me. So....HELP!
