Not 44's, but this is 4" susp, 3" body on 40" Gumbo Mudders. I bought this earlier this past year built like you see it. Strictly a mud truck, not good for much else, and was built by a bunch of rednecks - more things were screwed up on that truck then I care to think about. Scary push/pull steering, no kick-down linkage, '74 frame, '76 350 with major internal oil leak, '86 2wd cab, body parts from ??? how many trucks, D44/12b, single gas tank on the left side, stupid shiat welded on frame/cheap fixes..... So I did the world a favor and dismantled it.

as for the blue truck with the rockwells... Hell I'd buy it!!! Thats a straight body and I could probably get a pretty penny for those rockwells. :D

Doesnt ORD say that you can run one of the zero-rates in the front? I know we dont call them blocks... but if he bolted a 1.5" or a 2" to that pack, does that make it a block and stupid or ?

About 5" or so lift. Stock '94 F-250 and '83 K20 with 2" add-a-leaf and 33's for reference.

OK, all these big nasty tires is making me do it.

That's like 5 - 6" on 44's and much trimming needed in the rear yet. Someday I'll get to spend some time on it again.

Here is my 90 burb with 12" suspension,3" body lift, bushwacker cutouts & that aint enough to wheel with. The bushwackers are gone now. I'm 5'8" and the bottom of the window is about 6' off the ground. I can easily climb into the truck with the DP step bars.

Okay I must be missing something because minnesota law says my bumpers can only be 25" from the ground ! thats an inch from stock height bumpers ; how can I have any fun? I am frustrated! my bumpers now are at 26.5" with 35s I want a good ( or best I can get ) aproach and departer . And the bigger the tire the better ,I want to get that 14b off the ground. should I just build the truck the way I want and take the tickets ?? I see guys taller then me ,is that what they are doing??? you guys running any the trucks pictured on the road?? I will drive my truck as a everyday driver O yes oooyes I will

Actually my headlights do not meet the state laws of max. 54". I will be adding snow plow lights on the bumper. I do drive the burb on the street and have not got pulled over yet "knocking on wood".

Don;t feel bad here in maine as in a couple other states there is a frame height law. Only way around that one I can figure is to stack 2-3 frames and weld em :wistle:

Looks pretty useless to me, any flex and those tires are into the sheetmetal. Keeping it as low as possible is good, but it has to work too.
Hey, don't be hatin' on my ride! J/K!!! It was useless offroad, especially with 1/2 axles. I drove it for a while on the street and then parted it out.

ONLY 6 INCHES?
Yep. It had 6" springs up front and 5.5" springs and a 2" block out back.

I had my K5 on the road. My K20 is illeagal also with 9" lift and 38.5's, but I never have any problems. I drive sensibly. The police around here won't bother you unless you give them a real good reason to.

My friend has 20" of lift and 44's. He grabs the inside of the bedrail and steps on one of the lugs on the rear tire and then pulls himself up toward the door and grabs the armrest to pull himself the rest of the way in. It only takes him about 1 1/2 seconds to get in.
