How did you get it out? Shop truck?

Ira
Couple buddies with J**Ps pulled me out *AGAIN*...one at the top to keep it from rolling down, one off to the side to flip it over (with winch). Then top one lowered me down to where it was flat and we pulled the plugs, cranked the oil out, added some ATF, and I drove it out to the hardpack where Andy was waiting with the truck and trailer with my seat leaned way back like a hardcore gangster from the 'hood.

Yeah, just hack the top the rest of the way off and tube it out.

From the back the tailgate opening looks like this \___/

The sides are pushed down and out.

The built in rollbar saved our necks, but it bent the body down. It sags in the middle like a fat old dog or horse.

Not much keeps any of us down. He was up and about 1-2 days after his wreck. Come on down. Bring some cash, I'll have a talented tube-bending friend of mine whip you up a cage before we wheel...

I just tossed a cab that was all rusty from the door locks down. Just for the hell of it I cut the top off and was thinking the roof, a pillars, and integrated roll bar was the only thing in good shape. I thought about keeping it in case somebody had roof problems and then thought Naw! Probably have to toss it a year from now!

Ya shoulda' said ya wanted to roll your Blazer!:haha::haha:

How in the world did you not get you head slammed from eigther the roof or the earth?

I have a hard head. Not as hard as it used to be though. Softened it up a little.

It had to be God, if you ask me after looking at it in the light.

Sure you can join!

I don't see why not...

If you had a light D44 under there instead of that heavy D60, the top woulda held up...!:p:

J/k..... Glad you're ok....

It happens fast, eh...!?

I don't like the weight of the 60, but I broke 44 shafts like uncooked spaghetti. I'm totally rethinking my wheeling vehicle, going to go in a different direction, maybe towards the lightweight buggy path. I'd like to stay street legal, but safety is now the priority, then performance and comfort. Your input is appreciated.
