The truck is getting very close to being done, figured i'd post a few more pictures even though most of them I took last winter. Took over a spot in my warehouse and we really got some work done on this truck. Basically got it to the point that all it needed was paint, a bed, and bumpers. But, then spring hit and it was back to digging holes and nothing got done on the truck at all.
So, now that it's winter again the paint is finally going on. Spraying it hot rod black tomorrow, which is basically as flat as I could find that wouldn't be a pain to keep clean. Still need a bed, but it shouldn't be too bad to find one.
A nice clean heater made by my buddy, it only has defrost but it works good.
I'm extremely pleased with the way it's turning out, basically what I'm going for is flat black paint with just the right amount of chrome to make it look good. The bumpers won't be done for awhile, but they have a really cool design (at least I think so). Basically the bumpers are the stock chevy chrome bumpers with two 2" receivers right below them. Sticking out the back of the receiver I have some pintle hitch plates that hang down and a removable tube bumper will bolt to them which will make the bumpers street legal. Then in the front of the receivers I will be able to easily mount a winch (will be usable on front and back) but for now I will just have some heavy duty D rings welded to a solid 2" trailer hitch. I will get some pics of it tomorrow.
Oh and I did switch all of the tires as it sits right now, these pics were taken last winter and i guess i hadn't gotten around to the back tires.
