I saw a Blazer in a mag running 44's with 8" of lift. All the wheelwells were trimmed majorly though. Even then I imagine the front tires hit the tub on compression...

This guy runs 42's ( efilnikufecin, he's on this board look uner the mounds on the trail section and pm him) on a six when I bought mine it had 42's with a six but I never ran it like that he kept the tires when I bought it. wheelwells were rotted off though.

I think someone on this site was trying to run something like that with 4" i think it might have been 42s though.

I've got 42s on a 4" lift, and I could easily run 44s, but I don't really count. I've got a K30 with the fenders and bed removed, plus axle relocation and firewall mods. To do this, you would need serious sheet metal (including fire wall and core support) modifications AND the axle relocations.

I doubt 6" is going to be much better than 4". The only thing I can see it doing is allowing you to keep a little more on top (instead of cutting it away). Front to back clearance issues will be pretty much the same as with a 4". It basically comes down to deciding to make a commitment, putting it together, fixing the obvious stuff, and then fixing the problem areas that you didn't see before hand. There are some problems that will not be apparent till you wheel it pretty hard. This is not something I would recommend for a casual off road truck, a daily driver, or a novice wheeler/4x4 mechanic. This is not a small project…

What size tires are those,
What is the Ideale lift for 44's, this is now a daily driver it is only a toy, I will chop fenders and do any thing just want it to sit somewhat low to the ground.
