My old motor was .060, hence the 468. It should be fine.
As for pistons, I used KB in the past on a couple different engines. All ran great with no issues. I'll probly use them again on my 454.
Forged if you plan on using NOS or a blower, but normal driving naturally aspirated, hyper is fine. I never used forged and again never had any issues.
