they do not do the time trials anymore. they have eliminated everything that isn't on dirt and moving. no more design portion, braking, or acceleration tests. I think they elimintaed the road test too, but I'm not sure.
yep thats all gone but now they do a trail repair test. ie: swapping a u-joint or some other common trail repair

x3. Sure, not everyone is a monster truck guy but he did what looks like a quality build and used good components. Let him do what he wants with his money. I get crap here in socal because I trimmed my fenders to fit 37 inch tires rather than lift the body like they all do here. My money, my truck.

I think a lot of it ahs to jealousy. I mean who isn't jealous of that truck :eek1:

Also those guys in socal are just mad becuase cutting the fenders is a better idea than putting on a cheasy body lift. :wink1:

Thats what real truck club challenge is for. Top Truck should and always will be the "top trucks." We all need stuff to aspire to. I love seeing the stuff that is so insane because it gives me something to build towards.

That truck seemed to flex fairly well when it came over that dirt pile. I think it had a lot more left in it. I would really like to see its RTI score. It takes a lot of suspension to stuff those meats.

I agree in tapering it front and rear though. If he really pushes it on TTC hes gonna be smashing in that body on the tank trap. THere are spots in there with deep ruts that lean your body right into a bank. With as tall as he is its gonna trash that body, even with 54's.

RTCC Was cancelled This year. They may bring it back next year. I was building a rig for it actually . After that it sat , and I scrapped it.

neat truck i guess. he drives like a mary. that video was VERY bad quality. like really bad. he can afford a better camera with a truck that expensive.

Agreed. I love the truck. I love the stance. I've always been a fan of the BIG status. Too bad the jackoffs over at Pirate are all too driven by their egos. Just because they're hardcore rock crawlers don't mean they should bash other builders to what they like to design. Not everyone is a rock crawler. Almost everyone builds according to their driving style and terrain preferrence.

he must have spent all his money cause he drives like hes afraid to break his fancy truck whats the point of spending that much money and not going balls to the wall crazy with it unless he doesn't think it can take that much punishment big ass waste of time and money could have built a blazer for half the price **** he could have just bought a tank for the money he spent

Do you smell that?

Smells like jealousy

that rig is cool, tell the guy i'm sorry about the size of his pen.... ne ways, yeah I think top truck sucks because you have to have something absolutly outrageous just to enter. If you can't ford water taller then my truggy's roof then don't even bother. I love watching the movies though :-)

Nice

That thing is sick. Whats was the total lift before the rebuild? Bueller? I hope I clear 49's like that!

You must be either young or new to the game.

Part of upgrading to bigger and better parts is to prevent from breakage. Upgrades like this guy is doing has nothing to do with "pedal to the metal" and driving like a lunatic to see if he can break his parts or not, is not the idea of all this. The key here is, getting the right parts (in each persons own opinion of their rig) so they can perform better, go farther, deeper, etc., not break down, etc., and in order for each individual person to do that, they each drive in the manner they desire. What I'm saying here is, maybe this guy can drive the truck in a way that it will not have to be trashed and bashed but he will drive it with grace and smoothness that he can get thru places where the pedal-happy fool cannot.

As it was quoted by someone else, I smell jealousy here, too.....

gawd...i love the sound of that motor...i have ALWAYS been in love the a cam big enough to have that "lope" at idle...the carb needs adjusting or something yall her it cut out a couple of times?

but even still that truck makes me need a napkin! :lick:

id love to have a truck that looked that good/sounded that good. iknow my rig aint gonna ever be that "built" but hey theres always something more to shoot for and set yuor goals even higher...plus i got a long azz time to build something htat awsome (im 17)

yeah I think they are still tuning the fuel injection. to the guy that said he is afraid of breaking it, he is NOT afraid to give it hell. I have seen this truck in person many times. this guy drives it like he hates it. on new years day this year he beat the crap outta that truck, dropped it into a mud hole that was so deep his floor boards were flooded, held it to the floor for several minutes then backed up and hit it again, this went on for probably 30 minutes. his hedders were under the mud, it never missed a beat, never ran hot, never broke and was always at full throttle. I have to say that this is probably the best truck I have ever seen in the mud in person. sorry for the long post Im just getting tired of people dogging this truck, i am definetly pulling for him to win, that is all.
