57 Pontiac "Zero Fox"

Damn that’s a crazy amount off. I envision hater pipes down the rockers for track duty and cherry bombs for the street.

Nice score and points to the Bent one for facilitating the Underground Railroad of parts to the great white north.
Yeah, I was sure it was a mistake...and I never normally find deals like this. There is 22 more sets dude...

Thanks for the heads up but fender-well headers are not in the build plan for the Nomad at this point. The rare 2.5" rams horns manifolds will need to suffice.

Though somebody thinking ahead should snap up a couple of sets to resell for a profit later...

They still have 22 sets so far, yeah they are selling them at about 1/4 of my price with this summer clearance. Thanks for checking with me. I checked on Sunday for you because sometimes that stuff is gone in a whim and since I couldn't get them at that price, I didn't want you to miss out on it.

They have them in black ceramic, and titanium ceramic...

Let me preface this by saying how much I despise UPS. Absolutely not Mark's fault either. He wanted to get these shipped before Blazer Bash and was pressed for time. You've seen pics of the box, and it weighed 40 lbs. UPS charged $194 USD up front to ship these from Colorado to Alberta which is foxin ridiculous already. Then they take almost three weeks to get to my door where they "COD'd" me at the door for another $96.

This is how they arrived...

At this point I'm steaming...but had my phone ready to document the carnage.
Luckily they were well wrapped in foam and heavy plastic by Hooker and had maybe one tiny scratch on the coating. So I threw em on, because who could resist?

Also had the water neck and offset base air cleaner show up...

So the last few days Mark and I have been binging the Drag Week coverage and discussing stuff. Mark mentioned there were only 6 or 8 "B/Gas" cars in that class. I started paying a bit more attention to the cars in that class, and saw that not all were crazy over the top gassers. Stock rear wheel openings on a couple, and only slightly nose high. This car could easily fit in this class with only some minor changes. It already checks most of the boxes for B/Gas. NA, carb'd, manual trans, tri five, fenderwell headers...

I think adjustable coil overs up front could get the front up enough to qualify for Gasser stance, I was already going to go with some Torque Thrust style rims so those would work. Maybe add some 60's lettering and that should be it. If I can score a tunnel ram that'd be icing, but not necessary...but if I do I have two hoods here. One could be cut without bothering me too much.

Sorry the updates are now not so frequent. I'm waiting on some back ordered parts and of course back to working 60 hours a week.

Those work. They aren’t as common as the torq-thrust wheels have turned into.
