6+8 Divided By 2240 lbs = HOLD ON

For the cars we were running in Stock and Super Stock, the correction factor was 1.1 and .9 respectively. Realized in the track, those numbers were pretty close

Wow Ron! That little car looks bad ass! It has to be a riot to drive. You need to take me for a spin the next time I'm up. Congrats on the new ride!

If I can get this jacked up or on a lift I will try to get some info off of the coilovers for you. Should be pretty close to what you need for Death Trap. We need to go for a ride sometime, you will be amazed how nice this thing rides.

That would be great. Would love to go for a ride. If you go to Bandimere when it opens back up let me know. I need to see how quick my daily is with the new turbos, exhaust and tune.

2013 Audi S6 with the V8 twin turbo. Taking it apart soon to do the upgrades.

What plans do you have the TR6?

Paint for sure, fix/modify hood scoop and change air cleaner, clean up some tail light wiring, build and upholster trunk panels and update harnesses. The more I play with it I'm sure I will find other things. The chassis pic is pre coilovers.

What's the quarter mile time that would force a roll bar? Is it 11.99 or 10.99?

Just curious because if you did plan on taking it to the track you might get kicked out for lack of safety gear if it goes quicker than it has.

Been there, done that. Repeatedly. I was banned from bringing anything to OCIR in the late 70s early 80s. I had to live vicariously through the cars I built for other people.

Lol. Not surprised by that statement at all.

I was the opposite when I was running at Bandimere in high school. Poor little 307 didn't know what to do with me flogging it like a rented mule. Between the 2bb carb, single 1 3/4" exhaust and a 2.73 gear I was being clocked with a sun dial.

22 seconds was the first pass I made with the car. Flat footed and manually shifting the th350 when the valves floated at 5 grand. Still lost in the first round with a 10 sec head start on the previous season champ in the high school class. He was running a '66 Nova sedan with a wicked small block and a throttle stop to keep him just off the class index at 12.0.

Such a sinking feeling to be well past half track and watch the car get bigger in the mirror. Still crossed the line a car length ahead of me.

Thats a wicked ass frame. Is that factory or custom built? For paint are sticking with black or another color? I think mild shot of nitrous would be a good option for you.

It looks like it has a roll bar so you should be ok for a convertible. Is it full or just behind the seat? I know they are stricter on verts.

My best time at Bandimere (5800' high). I miss that car but don't miss working on it. It was a fast MF on the street too with AWD.

The frame is custom built. It will be painted "Arrest Me Red" Actually it does not have a rollbar (yet). I just talked to my nephew that runs Super Gas, convertibles must have rollbar and handcuffs @ 13.49

I thought it was 11.50 for a roll bar...

I remember it being 11.49 and 13.49 for convertibles. It’s been a few years though, maybe it’s changed.

I stand corrected, you guys were right. Hardtops running 11.49 or quicker are required to have a rollbar. So now the question is does anybody know someone in the Colorado area that will build me a rollbar that will pass tech? Compensated for their work obviously.
