It was originally a deep blue, can't remember the name offhand. I don't mind it, it is a little dark though for my taste.
I don't mind the purple it was, it suited the car I thought.

After 3 days of stripping, sanding I ended up with this:
Picked up an SD hood being the original was beyond repair, put a set of hood springs that were badly needed as well.

Nope, RPM deals in old car parts. They had it in stock.

I vote for marina blue. My favorite color on that body style.
Looks to be what color it was before purple IMO.
Just remembered, it was Deepwater blue. A lil dark for my taste, but a darker metallic blue might be what I go with.

I thought you got a used one. They are the same hood as a SS chevelle then right. The ones I've seen on Kijiji are expensive. But if It was me I would have to have that hood too!
