Welp,
Does the core support go on before the inner and outer fenders for a 69’ c10?

i have read people assemble the inner fender to the outer and put it on as one unit, emblems would need to go on first or use those clips to push the emblem in to.

anyway,
What are the preferred steps to get the front end together and have everything line up, or line up enough?

I’d put in the core support, then inners, then outers, all while listening to Vixen

I’d try to fix that inner first is you’re handy with a welder and have a few pieces of scrap steel

I don’t have a welder but probably JB weld will work, I may try to just find a replacement locally..
Do you really need inner fenders?

As far as tap and die set goes
Should I get metric or sae?
amazon has a set for both for like $60

or

I rarely use metric, and you can buy them one at a time

Yup either patch that inner fender with a welder, or find a new one. Any filler materiel for that kind of repair is liken to snake oil.

I assume this for the oil pressure sender,
What can I use to plug this?
I’m probably going to use the area by the distributor...

what size of whatever do I need to plug it? 1/2 NPT?

Wate temp sender in that hole. the thread size of the head is 3/8 pipe, the brass bushing in there now is 1/4" pipe. Pipe sizing goes by the internal diameter of the pipe. So the OD is bigger than you are expecting. Tube goes by the OD.
