700r4 no reverse revs high in first slips out of gear 2-3 shift

Thats too bad, could have been an easy fix.
Yeah looking like rebuild time. I watched some videos on the sun shell, and it's possible there could have been a clean break. Which would mean fluid ok and no metal in pan. Maybe something got lodged in valve body to explain the weird pressure readings. I have a call in to bowtie od. Also it doesn't look like they put in upgraded sun shell for stage 2. That's in stage 3.

Ok how would you fix this? I had a shop put in a reman t case after the one they rebuilt failed and they said the had to tap engine block hole because a bolt was stuck.

well look at that lol, it's been double tapped. I got the old bolt out, they had left it in and drilled off center. It wasn't even tapped just drilled. The original hole will thread with a bolt it's just missing the left half of threads.

I'm talking about the engine block bell housing bolt hole. I'm using 168 teeth flexplate, I'm putting a new one that's HD zinc and both sides welded. That starter works for both 153 and 168, it's a proform, I've been using it for a while no issues or noises.

Will that time sert be big enough to fill out that hole? It's now almost 2x the original diameter.

You can lose a low/reverse clutch pack or a reverse input clutch pack and still retain normal forward function but those generally fail with a bit of warning. Sun shell spline failure happens in an instant and will not change line pressure reading, ( yours are normal )
I got it back from bto. The sunshell was toast. Also, the forward piston had a hairline crack. So they did a upgraded billet sunshell and piston.
