If it still has the build plate it will show.
Also the vin can provide that information. You need access to records though.
I had a Pontiac looked up by the Pontiac historic society.
I don't know if there's an equivalent for Chevy
 
What I’ve heard from him so far,

Its my father's. From my understanding it's a restored chevelle non-numbers matching car. It has a 454 with a functioning cowl hood and a 4 spd shift. Nothing racing on the car. Looks like its from the factory.

I believe its an fully restored original chevelle just not original motor. He's going to try and enter it into a car show at the end of the month in Clifton and is planning on selling it there. He hasn't got a set price as of yet. I can give you further information when I get it. I'll keep you updated. It shouldn't sell before the car show. I don't think he will be advertising it until then.

I asked for a VIN, haven’t got it yet. Let me know if you want me to keep bugging him for more info or pass.
 
I'm interested! I would need a price though. I'd likely ship it to Montana and pick it up / import it from there. When he mentions it was restored, does he know if any rust repair / patch panel work was done?

Dude emailed me telling me it is pending on an offer. I don't think he has sent more than 6 words worth of reply for 3 emails sent back haha! Dude doesn't seem too keen to sell.
 
Some asshats like to list there stuff with no real intention of selling. They just like people calling so they can brag what they have, and even shove it in your face alittle bit.
Or others have to list it to prove to the spouse that's it's listed. "It's just not selling babe, guess we might as well keep it"

His add does seem odd, quite vague. Which makes a guy wonder a bit.

But yeah if he ends up still having it and you want me to see if I can have a look at it let me know.
