72 burb (this is why i can't go to salvage yards)

There is nothing special about keeping these things origin color. Paint it a color you like.

Thank you for saving it from the crusher!
I'm in on this one for sure

That was my thought as well. Might as well get the inside cleaned up and trimmed out on the inside. I always liked green and white or maybe black with a white roof. Hmmmm. I sort of suck at pAinting but the body work I can do. A simple single stage color on the inside I can do. Decisions decisions.

I forgot to mention that you should look at the front seats from '01 and up tahoe/ suburban stuff. Integrated seat belts, reclining, maybe other points, too. Four of those with custom consoles??
Just a thought that I had while working...
My buddy put a set in his '90 Jimmy, they needed a spacer/adapter plates to use the original bolt holes and raise them. I would have done something different to reinforce the floor, but not mine.

I like it. I got to see a built suburban with captains chairs in six locations. It was wonderful. I don't need six positions but it has always stuck with me as a good way to go.

She declined the hunter green and white as an accent color. Ha!
Might have to do a test panel with hunter green and tan for her approval.

Awesome find. I found one similar in New Jersey at a yard but it had pretty much been picked clean. The body had started to rot too. But would have been awesome to
Save. I've always liked these old panel subs.

wow, they were going to crush that!! I'm in CA, the crush everything state, and I'm sad to hear about how close it came lol
I vote keep the color, damn it looks good. CRL and wax it, polish the stainless and flaunt it. Looks badass as is but that's just my opinion. Happy to see it saved. Is the other side as clean as the passenger side? F*** that's straight. OMG keep the color!! I just proves how straight it is.

Yup. Driver side is just as straight. One defect is in the drivers rear taillight area. Its taken a lick there. The area around the taillight will haves to be pulled and massaved. Everything else is straight as an arrow although Its faded badly. I really would love to rock it original but the girlfriend has veto powers. I just want to see her rolling and chugging down the road.

I agree, leave it as is....
