Jancy.
They are technically called "Annular cutters".... they have a nice center bit that acts as a pilot to keep the saw from walking around, and they make really sharp, nice cuts.
Here's an example:

Does one arbor fit all the cutters? I was using hole saws the other day to make holes and even slugs (with the center bit removed) and the edge results were pretty poor, even clamped in a drill press. I didn't know those cutters were so affordabe. Or maybe they aren't because the rest is missing?

Since these plates are only 1/8" thick material I was able to just stick them in my vise and hit them with a deadblow hammer to get the first angle...

...then it seemed to work well to weld the sections leading up to the final bend so that the metal was nice and hot where I needed to bend it again. A few more hammerblows and the last section would lay down really nice and flat.
If you ever need to do something a bit heavier, your shop press makes for a nice brake with a short piece of angle iron backed up with a piece of solid round. These were 1/4" x 1 1/2" and bent like butter and you can put a protractor on it and bend to a set angle more accurately than whacking it.

Found it!

You can buy them individually or in kits. Not cheap, but not impossibly expensive either.

I've seen the tricktools place before when looking for bender stands(ended up making my own) but haven't ordered from them yet.If you ever need to do something a bit heavier, your shop press makes for a nice brake with a short piece of angle iron backed up with a piece of solid round. I was going to say the same thing, except standing the arbor plate on edge is a little dangerous. If you you want to bend something wider these work quite well...

I ended up buying this one because it was the perfect width for my press and I got it on sale...

It bent 3/8" x 2" with only 7 tons of force, and I bent 1/4" x 6" with ease as well, I am sure it is capable of much more, could probably bend 1/8" the entire width no problem.
I just wouldn't advise others to do that, as you know, if things aren't perfectly straight someone could get seriously injured with projectile metal parts.

Craig just ordered these

I know nothing about them. Seemed decent for new![]()

Post up a review once you've played with them a bit...
Almost everything in my budget was 6000lb. (1500/pad).... I searched a long time for ANY manufacturer who made something with just a touch more capacity...but the prices went up exponentially.
Does that set have a CG capability? I saw that on the Intercomps and wondered if it might be a cool feature to play around with?
