Would anyone have any idea why my rig would spew gas from the filler
inlet. When i say spew i am being nice, its more like projectile vomiting.
I replaced the tank. The nipple at the tank is straight(bought from LMC)
as opposed to the stock curved nipple.
I also replaced each hose individually so they would not get crossed. I
cannot even get a half gallon in there. No hoses are kinked.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the hoses to be sure there were no rags, plastics or other crap in the hose before assembly? Was there any sorta cap in the filler neck at the tank that you forgot to take off before hose install? Gotta be something in there.

Make sure the smaller hose on the filler neck goes to a large port on the tank. You need it to vent air while it's filling.

Mine does the same thing but only once it's full.

What he said. I have seen that problem twice, and both times it was a plugged/kinked vent hose.
When you are dumping that gas in fast, the air in the tank has to go somewhere. If it cannot get out, pressure builds up until it overcomes the pressure of the liquid coming in.
Problem is, the momentum of the liquid is greater than its weight. So the pressure in the tank rises above the amount needed to counterbalance the weight of the liquid. So when it gets to that point, the results are impressive.
LOTS of spew.
Since its a new tank, it might be missing a vent hookup.

Double checked everything and it turns out there was a kink in one of the vent hoses. Passenger side forward tube. Glad I found it. I was not looking forward to dropping the tank.
Just put in 16 gallons at a decent rate and not even a gurgle. May be different when
filling completely , will see. Next on the list is new brakes or should I say a new brake system. Thanks for all the tips!

You had it right. A kinked vent line plus my buddy was using a short neck funnel to pour the gas. I am sure that had something to do with it.
