I'm loving all the videos & photos you are putting up. Nice work :waytogo:

And, the color, I absolutely love it!

Hellz yeah, breakin' out the saw-z-all and cut off wheel...:D

Two my favorite tools...

Oh, and beer...

Singin', in the rain... Juuuust siiiingin' in the rain.....

Seriously, tho.
How the hell is it pouring rain on June 4th!?

Stop complaining. At least you're getting some rain. It hasn't rained here in I don't know when. It's been over 100 every day for the last two weeks. If it started raining, I would go out in it and do some work on my junk (as long as it didn't involve electricity).

I work in the rain all the time lol. Its only water right?

Ideas have been stewing in my brain.

Got some cage ideas, too.

Gonna stick a dash bar in and then get a windshield bar in. Im thinking a V then run the 2 nodes straigh back to b pillar, then go a little ways then kick out to catch the sides of c pillar. with a brace on either side.

Then as soon as i do this boatside, im gonna do seat mounts added in, then figure out what to do for b pillar bracing. I dont really want to do an X for ease of getting passengers in the back, so will have to work that out.

kind alike this

I'm wondering how -uh hmm..- "street legal" the windshield to dash bar V tube will be with regards to blocking the drivers view & if the local popo enforces such a thing.

...But then if they really wanted to mess with you they probably would have given you a mud flap ticket or something stoopid like that by now.

Yeah i never thought of that haha... allthough i see a fair share of LEO's when i drive around and i dont get hassled. hell right by my house there is a quiznos and always 2-3 cops there. I stop at the shell for gas and never been bugged.

It's gotta be yer paint....

I've been pulled over 3 times, for stupid ch*t.... :doah:

Im gonna cut the whole thing out, then weld the tube in. Depending on how that extra bottom plate thing looks i will bend that up and add to it, connecting it to the bottom of the 2x4. So i will have a skid from the rockers, down the the frame.

I may use this time to just tie them straight to the frame as well. Still undecided on that. Was thinking a few pieces of 2x2. Ive seen others do it but not sure the stress it would cause only having the rockers hard mounted to frame and nothing else. Could always tie my cage in though
HEY CHOP CHOP with the boatside. thats coming up lickety split on my list and i want you to try it first. lol

truck looks tits btw

Mine is cut for 38's, and it is sitting on 245/75R16's right now.

And in case you were wondering.... you CAN fit 4 42s w/wheels in the back of a K5 with the seat folded up haha.

Well couldnt afford 150 bucks for the 2x6 tubing... so i ended up making a bumper center, and throwing a stinger on it.
Will be getting some tube on the sides, as well as a tube from side up to stinger.

I was expecting this EPIC stinger bar....

Then I saw that cute lil' thing...:haha:

Gonna look nice when done!
I'm gonna go buy a bolt on rollbar tomoro, off CL.

:D

getting 50ft of tube tommorow for some cage action.

Gonna do a dash bar, V windshield bar, take out old bent b pillar to c pillar bar and put a straight one, horizontal tubes runnuning from a pillar to c pillar from windshield bar, then coming off b pillar and kinking and hitting outsides of c pillar.

Then with what i have left debating going from b pillar to center of truck on either side.

But i want my passengers to be able to get in, not sure how to work that.

You're gonna have to do some kind of drawing or something so we can get this in mind's eye. I think I can picture it but we need some paint action. I'm sure it's gonna be cool no matter what.
