Don't go cheapie on those. I got some from Harbor Freight and the rubber was cracking and falling off within a yeat or so. I would guess that even from napa or summit they aren't expensive, and I should have gone that route. The engine heat just killed them real quick on my blazer

Bought a bunch of different sizes on summit already, very reasonably priced.

All star was the brand if you guys need to buy some.

I feel that I should mention something that you all probably know .
When you have fuel lines going from the body to the engine , make sure that you have good grounds to make sure that the fuel line doesn't become a ground!

Sorry for the safety soapbox speech . ..
but it's about no fried trucks!

Ah ok I have those. That's what I'll be using along the frame too...of course it's much bigger then one fitting. I think I'll jerry rig it up with the bigger clamp aND swap them when I get my summit order.

PS- Your workbench is a fugginmess

Always and forever

You could throw a grenade in my garage, let it blow and it would look possibly more organized then it is now lol.

I am going to say that the state of his workbench is a sign of a healthy mind!
At least that is my excuse ! !

Yes! very healthy mind at work here!

I usually keep things fairly clean but when I'm in build/thrash mode it's over. I hate putting stuff away just to get it back out 10 minutes later lol.

Yeah I've been getting them from summit...we'll see how they hold up!

Could you make something cool out of metal to attach it to your firewall? I thought you had a little bit of access to make smallish parts. Something like this but with holes on the sides where you could put a screw/bolt through to the firewall: Fuel line clamps

Yeah I probably could. I made some fuel clamps a few pages back...been swamped with work so I haven't been able to make anything cool lately.

Appreciated !

So far the tank has been ground as well as body to engine, engine to frame.

When do we hear the those famous words, "IT'S ALIVE"?????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oy let's hope soon. There's always the little stuff that kills any hope haha.

I'm going to guess possibly next weekend. I think I'm going to score some sweet parts next weekend too....period correct front clip.

I'm doing good so far with the wiring...Maybe by the end of the weekend it'll be done. I have some fuel line stuff to finish, plug wires, dial in the distributor and it's ready!

I like the black nylon braided fuel lines. I feel like stainless braided in an offroad truck is a bit ostentatious.

Hmm never knew there was black line! So far this is all summit racing brand fuel supply.

Anyone know If I need to block these off? I know it's for an auto trans...I'm assuming it's just a line that goes in and then back out but is sealed from the coolant....if I plug it will it build pressure or what?
