73 K20....crossmember time

Luckily a 205 doesn't have a ton of hard to clean webbing like an aluminum case would so with a bit of solvent and wire wheel action it should clean up nicely

Yeah it's not bad so far. I just bought some etching juice but man do I need a sandblaster, a hot tank and a press.

I realized after I Rtv'd the black box on I should have painted the 205 first. Oh well I'm dumb. Guess I'll be making for hours on end. Better then cleaning rtv though.

The titan shaft is almost in. I can say with certainty that it's not a very well thought out design. With minor changes is could have been far easier and less beating and banging. I'm a little concerned about it shifting properly being that the shift collar is a press fit onto the titan shaft. I'm hoping it loosened up a bit with the shaft being driven through it.

I believe that @85k5witha6.2 said that he dipped one in molasses.
Not positive, or do I know what the process is.

1 part molasses and 9 parts water, let it soak for like a day. It’ll look like brand new after you wipe it off.

Also now I need to go read all 206 pages, see you guys in a couple hours

Well things are going together...with some beatings. I thought maybe the rails were a bit off but it looks like this one is supposed to be that far out when forward. I'm going to try to get in a few hours on it in the morning...xmas always getting in the way.

I'm excited to have this thing together. It's been a long time coming.

32 spline outputs to be built next. Well I just finished one so one to go.

I also realized the clip for the output bearing on the front is gone somehow. I have a 203 sitting in the garage that apparently is the same size so I'll steal that one I suppose. Looking forward to wrapping up this tcase build. Maybe tomorrow itll be ready for paint.
