This should be interesting knowing how brutally tight Fordyce is
Haha yeah i expect body damage but i also welcome it with open arms now lol. Its gonna happen at some point. I have a major advantage with my wheelbase though. The other guys have longbeds so they love damage!

Haha i could plate the frame if i put my plates in a 5 axis cnc to match the curve!

I haven't seen that show and I think that's a good thing.
Sounds like you have some seasoned guys going with you so you should be fine.

I think 2 of the guys run the trail a few times a month so we should be good. Always good to have a tour guide. I cant wait to get out on the trail. Thats when all the hard work makes a bit of sense.
Im really interested in running the rubicon again after this trip. Might try to put some dates together.

Lol hurry! Maybe the rain will keep holding out to the end of the year. I plan on taking the blazer apart december 1st for upgrades.
and there is trail work scheduled on Cadillac the 18th, 19th & 20th with next to no passage on the 19th.

Hmm interesting. Ill have to see if theres any other events at that time. Not super thrilled about going up cadillac again but i think i have the carb figured out now.
I need to tweak mine too, it ran out of fuel once and I needed Zak to give me a yank. I shouldn't have that problem with a freshly rebuilt Q-Jet.

Yeah mine got drastically better after i rebuilt it. I searched for Qjet parts through summit and rockauto and both insisted on telling me it was a 2 barrell, which its not so i found this place and got a great rebuild for $40 or so.

The parts are based on the numbers on the side of the carb, I went through all this last year.
Mine was professionally rebuilt, drives great however it tends to die on a steep incline. I've read something about the float bowl needing to be adjusted up? Need to figure that out....

Right im just saying if you look up my truck it says 2 barrel and thats wrong.
Not sure about that. I just adjusted mine within spec and it did great.
