73 K20....crossmember time

Thanks guy! I might start making them for fun. I plan on tacking mine but if you had some issue you could take the screws out and pry it off just in case.

As usual im working my ass off to beat the clock for the upcoming rubicon trip. Ill be ready to fire the truck up tomorrow and go for a test drive.

Took the top off. Not a fan of the top at all.

Found these 10klb hooks at harbor freight for $6 so I got 4 lol.

Finished the clamp...

Got the heatsink in temporarily. Ill move it to fresh air when I build a front cross member.

Looks like itll clear...

Phuck...time for a steering stop?

Got my spare mounted up...

Are you anywhere close to full turn when that linkage hits the diff, or is it limiting you?

Nice build so far man, let's see the parts list for your hydro-assist like you mentioned on IG.

Rubicon ready!!!

Gm of the month?

Need to tie up some lines but it drove great!

Met another k5 at the gas station....super cool dude, definitely gonna go wheeling.

I used to live on the hillside overlooking the bridge and c&h when I was younger, that was probably 20+ years ago

I'll put it on here too.

Your truck looks absolutely perfect!

Very nice work man. I found some new material for my spank bank:haha:

You and me both. I might get some cnc time to do some 203-205 adapters soon...

It was really great to see bmxbryant9 and K85 operate there rigs. You can tell there pretty comfortable with there rigs, I can't wait to get to that level. K85 drove his like it was a damn utv. Clinging to the side of rocks like a goat lol.

I'm glad I made it through. It took me 9 quarts of atf to go through the trail and back to loon. Bad bad leak where the tcase meets tranny. I had to park it facing down hill so it didn't piss so bad. Tcase 4 low is pretty much burned up too.

begging and borrowing ATF all the way through huh? How did the rockers fair without the sliders?

I knew before it was leaking but nowhere near the rate that it was on the trail so i brought 5 qts just in case. Got off the trail and went to the gas station for 10 minutes and it dumped half a quart on the ground. I then bought 4 qts and filled it several times on the way up to loon. Crappy situation.

Rockers are nearly untouched thanks to the big tires :thumb:

Sliders would have prevented some damage but most of it was due to length. Most damage was scraping the tail end on sharp turns.
