73 K20....crossmember time

Yeah I'm not sure how you managed that!

And FWIW the suggested settings on the machine I've found are pretty damn close. I slow the speed down a little sometimes but those settings have been my starting points.

Yeah ive always found the heat to be on the money but the feed seems too fast always. I think I have it dialed now. I need to run some more passes and weld in this crossmember.

Did you see ultimate adventure crossed the rubicon and theyre done with fordyce today? Glad to see them actually crawling instead of swimming in mud.

All better now. Just need to weld up the bottom of the new tube there. This 2 inch tube is fun. I'll need to get some more of it...cheap though.

I think I'll put another tube out further and then tie the two togethor. A piece of chanel would be great to tie the two frame ends in.

I know you mentioned it before but I'm lazy and have to poop... So what welder is that? 230V? I had a Hobart like that and I ran a lot of wire through it over the course of 6-7 years before the drive rollers crapped out. It would have lasted longer but I had the wire tension set up too tight.
As for the fabbing... Looks good man! Planted some ideas in my head for my build!
