73 K20....crossmember time

You wouldn't happen to have the Autozone P/N would you, everything I've seen from them is bare metal or so it looks.

They often stock parts from multiple suppliers as the same P/N. It's possible to buy the same P/N twice in a row and get different parts. One of my rigs wound up with one caliper plated and the "matching" caliper bare.

Yeah I was thinking about keeping them separate. I have a controller for the fan already and have that all wired up from last time.

I guess if the controller went south I could run the fitech as a backup.

The relays and power all stay as is, but your signal to relays comes from the FiTech harness instead of the other switch. Pretty damn simple and solves your other issue.

Looked at the directions... it appears its really just the hot wire? I guess it uses the fitech sensor?

I bought an autometer oil pressure gauge, a few ground straps, some exhaust bends and a few other odds and ends. I tried to buy a v belt from them and they said nope because California lol. Must be made out of asbestos.

Also pulled the trigger on a 22 circuit wiring harness. Ill get the efi on this weekend and start routing the exhaust. Just a few weeks from making noise I think...

yes it uses the FiTech coolant temp sensor and you can adjust when the fans kick on using the programmer. The ECU sends a ground to the fan relay, yellow is the #1 fan, black is the #2 fan.

Perfect. May as well. I got some fancy red anodized plugs for the manifold lol. Should make it faster.

Progress looks good! For the first time in my life I used those same MSD wires you bought this very weekend. After using premade junk that was way too long it's great being able to cut them to fit.

I am so copying you when I do my exhaust.

Hell yeah! I'll post up all the details of course.

Thanks! I totally agree...never the right length!
