73 K20....crossmember time

Not going to win any fashion shows but here's my y pipe. just added the jump up to 3 inch. Just have to add the 3 inch straight section and the muffler and im done with the exhaust for the time being.

Couldn't find my old muffler so I got one of the cheap ones from summit.

****ing dead in the water. never fails! I found out I need to put a flange in the exhaust as well because it'll just make it a nightmare to get in and out.

Well I tried to start this thing last weekend.

Couldn't get it to turn over. figured out I had a few wires wrong and the battery was at a measly 7 volts.

So this weekend it will start. I figure if I can get it to turn over, I'll confirm the fuel pump is working, purge that line then hook it up and vroom.

Lots of parts are showing up. I also finished the exhaust of course. fairly happy with it. wrapping that shit sucks but its done now.

Also a 1410 yoke for the d60.

Go get a good battery.. nothing worse than screwing around with a crap battery.. trust me I killed mine then the starter just out of pure bad timing. Sounds like you have bad luck too.. charge it and keep it charging while your beating on it.. maybe jumper cables on there to when your messing to keep it topped off

Hungry yoke?

Yeah me doesnt have a charger. this interstate battery is kickass though. its been sitting for a year with no chsrge and countless testing of crap lol. I hate side terminals but itll do. I plan on getting another battery eventually. maybe sooner than later lol.

Me leaves the hot wire off until I'm good and ready. I did start welding the valve cover when putting the lead on the alternator the other day hahaha

Most of us prefer to use fasteners on the valve cover instead of welding. But to each his own. :screwy: :dunno:
