73 K20....crossmember time

Well I got her to turn over!

Fitech is lit up... charging the battery right now...adding a few more gallons of gas...jerry rigging a way to get the mosquito abatement smoke out of the garage. Purging the gas line then I think I'm ready to rock....

Yeah. Colder in there than outdoors! I did get the propane heater out last night so that made a world of difference

I have no pity. I've done a whole bunch of automotive work on street corners, in soggy pastures, gravel driveways, and all over the place. I was out there a few days ago at -8* draining and refilling my radiator (wasn't quite up to snuff for the incoming winter temps). Having a floor, walls, and roof make a huge difference, even if it isn't insulated.

A garage should be a year-round working environment in your region. The heater is just icing on the cake.

Damnit. I have some more wiring issues. I guess this color to that color isn't quite right. The battery wasn't quite up to snuff either.

My issue is getting the ignition wire. Just need to pin it out either the key at the first click. I remembered to put oil in the trans...avoided burning out a set of bearings lol.

The fuel pump works and I purged the line.

So so close. Definitely will start this week.

Not much to update but I've got the wiring all figured out. I have to clean up some wires but I love how clean it is already. Thank **** for leaving all that smog shit by the wayside.

Does it feel sacriligous to put an Edelbrock cleaner on top of the FItech system? :pimp:

Probably depends on intake too. I have smaller spacer below throttle body. Must mean the fitech is significantly shorter than the carbs it replaces.
