Shit if you were closer I'd trade you my dana 70HD out of my '81 C30 crew cab for that narrow rear end. I like the skinny flatbed dually look. Mine may or may not have 4:56 gears, I haven't checked.
This is a 12 valve. So that's just a pressed tin cover. Eventually I'll have a cover made or just leave it off all together.add to the list item .
remove valve cover and have the DODGE milled off the top flat then repaint the cover as it was black and red .

You had the right idea!well shows you what a gas guy knows about diesels . . .![]()

that 1 ok plow was only $500 with the truck... All it needed was a starter... It stays till the rest are outfitted with Fishers. Then it's just a back up truck.i see 3 good plows and 1 o.k. plow in this pic .![]()
Thanks Steve! This thing is freaking cool
This is just part of it... There's a storage lot up the street with more. And more behind my shop. I have a problem... too many trucks, broke and single. But hey, it's all mine and no one can tell me what to do with it! hahaDang! send me some 4x4 dually stuff mine needs to be converted. Nice collection.
I knew I’d seen it before! Can’t remember what that one needed but I remember I wanted it pretty bad. I showed it to my wife and she didn’t like the child bearing hips.Laramie!

Freakin rust... The whole “small world” thing makes me laugh. I was looking for a cab with a title at that time and I ended up with an 81 (maybe an 83?No motor in it! Was a small block truck. It's a little more tender than I expected... Cab corners and Rockers are one thing... This one needs floor boards too... I overpaid a little bit for my liking, but when you have an addiction, you feed it!
) for $300. No motor and it’s 2wd but the vital areas are solid. Has a 4”x4” spot in the driver side floor that I need to patch. When I went to look at it I realized the guy I’d been talking to the whole time was an old friend of mine. But anyway... love this build! Keep up the good work!
I don’t feel as guilty anymore. Pretty sure my dads gonna flip his wig if I bring another squarebody out to his place....Dearest POORBOY,
That’s a hell of a collection you haveI don’t feel as guilty anymore. Pretty sure my dads gonna flip his wig if I bring another squarebody out to his place....
Really like this 73 C30 camper too, Cummins prolly pulls that tank a bit better than that ol 7.8:1 454 did. Got a question, the chrome wheels on your 85-87 standard cab dually, the blue one you have pictured, are those wheels a factory option or are they aftermarket? Just bought an 89 V3500 and it has the same wheels on it.
As for rest of the collection, I've been out of space. Not sure how I've managed to squeze the last ~5+/- or so in my storage lot. I have like 26 trucks right now. All the "big 3" 13 of them being 73-87's. But my problem is, I don't have anyone telling me NO! haha
@bechseat4speed where did you find the V3500? local?
I hadn't seen that one. Nice one though! I've been trying to stay away from craigslist until I finish a few other trucks and get rid of some others.26 trucks that’s awesome hahaha I’m at 21 right now. I’m terrible. When I find a used up but complete K10 for 800 bucks, or a beater K30 for 2k I can’t say no. Some kind of mental deficiency.
Mental deficiency is right! I've been trying to stick to K30's for some reason. Maybe because DANA 60. Who knows... I'm the same way, just can't pass up a good deal...
Yes, you may recognize this one. It was for sale in Canon City recently. Bone original Colorado truck sold new at Burt Chevrolet on 11-25-88, beyond that I don’t know much. Sorry for the crappy pic, I haven’t taken any pics of it yet. Just happened to be in the background of another pic I took.
