74 dirty c rough weekend with a smile....

so I'll get some more pics up on that trail tomorrow... but I ordered a nicer pressure gauge and advanced timing weights... so we'll stick those in and rejet her because she was a dog in that elavation..

also rebuilding the tire carrier relocated tire to center and shorted it 2 inch should have went 4.... gas can each side get rear lights welded in , rock sliders and rock lights, and a pull out tool box on my list, and of course the fortify offroad link system,.... but i promise this will take me more then 3 days

not much of a flashy person but when I saw these on ebay I had to have them20160526_173359.jpgso I need to put those on

also got another regulator for drivers door20160622_175827.jpgmaybe this one will work... hopefully 2nd times a charm

2x4 to 2x2 square to the frame...if my math is correct they should be close 2.5 gallon tank per side... and if it doesn't work like I think they will still be nice sliders...

Dude, the air tank rock sliders has to be one of the more ingenious ideas I've seen. I'm curious to know how they work in practice.

i left them a 4 inches long to test before i go threw the trouble....I'm picking up the rest of the hardware this weekend.... my test with one tank was good I brought it up to 80 psi and put a air ratchet on it seem to run it fine... with both sliders done I'll see if my impact will knock the lugs of my silverado... then I'll cut them to size and install... also @sreidmx brought to my attention that i should make them able to be isolated in case i puncture one... another thing I'm going to do is put a metal valve stem on them so I can fill them before I leave the house... hopefully I'll have updates soon...

For the isolation a chunk of air hose with a shutoff valve would probably do the trick. With all this work are you going to put in an onboard compressor as well to keep them full?

yup... that way the compressor only needs to maintain pressure vs build and maintain it..... but we'll see
