Builds looking good, Love the looks of that rear bumper:thumb:

on a side note i'd look into maybe gusseting that rear stock hanger somehow, thats just me though.

thanks i think they came out nice still need to add the winches though but i had other things that needed work before that. as for the rear hangers they are just done temporary until i get a flip from DIY.

that turned out good, dig it...

make sure you give us a report on the door quality...

Thanks Ryoken. i sure will keep things updated on the doors and pans. i hope to start them this week weather permitting.

Everything is looking cool. I've got some rust repair to do in my cab corners too, and I've never replaced any metal so if you want to be a little more detailed on any of the panel replacement, I'd appreciate it. :)

Well here is a update on the project truck i tore the trans out of my suburban so i had to start driving the truck for every day stuff till i get the burban back up and rolling. But i did get to do a little upgrading on it. I finally got the rear disk brake swap done on the 12 bolt rear and i must say it came out slick and works great. here are a few photos.

Looks professional. Is that a kit or did you fab it up yourself? What are those rotors and calipers off of? Did you have to use a different master cylinder or proportioning valve? I may try something like this one day.

i fabed it up myself. but I'll give you a rundown on the parts.

2 calipers from a 1985 Chevy K20
2 front brake lines from a 1985 K20
1 set of brake pads for above calipers
2 front rotors from a 1992 v1500 (these have a hub diameter of 3.10 you need to machine out to 3.575)
1 3/16 x 18" hard brake line
1 3/16 x 12" hard brake line

i used same master cylinder and proportioning valve

Thanks man. I wonder if rear rotors from a later model that originally had rear dics would work. Then you wouldn't have to have them machined out. I'm sure it brakes better than it did.

the newer model rear rotors are larger in diameter and are not as deep from hub face to back of rotor.

Also i forgot to add while i had the tires off the truck i broke the bead and checked the air soft pellets i balanced them with and they are still like new.

2000 .20 grams per wheel

dang i need to get back on this its just hard to work on it while driving it every day.
