Rubicon! The trip was awesome, we had a great group. Just the right number of rigs. Monday morning I started my trek to the trail head at 8 am with a 180 mile stretch of highway. The truck surprisingly drives pretty good on the highway. (bias 42's not balanced, half-doors, stereo cranked up and ear plugs in)
@skunked ended up meeting me at the last gas station before we made the last road climb to the trail head. We met up with @530BLAZER and @offgridoffroad at the Loon Lake staging area. At about 1200 we started out on the trail after airing down and locking in the hubs. I was dubbed the trail leader since I ran the trail through two years ago. I tried to stay ahead of the group and somewhat show the way. Pictures are in no order in the Rubicon 2018 album.

We wheeled to the Soup Bowl, I took the first run at it. First time trying it, took a little assistance from some spotters but the truck made it up with no problem. Linking the truck made driving through everything much smoother.

Sweet! That means I need to come up to you and see it in person.

Edit: or do you daily drive it through my town now?;)

Haha, Its a little much to daily drive. All my coworkers want me to drive it into work but I haven't yet.

Come up whenever. I met a guy in Novato a while ago that had a blue blazer that he took crawlin but I didn't get his number.

He’s hard to keep up with on those links.

@bmxbryant9 you forgot the part about getting turtled.....we’ll maybe not turtled but you were hung up good on that big ass rock :D

Well I found a rock right in the middle of the trail after taking the bypass around little slice. Came around a right turn and didn't even see it. Slid up and onto it, ended up being dished and I was unable to back off it or drive over it. @skunked gave me a tug to get back off it. Then we pushed on. We made it to buck island lake right before sunset on Monday night. It was awesome, we passed a bunch of u4 rigs set up for the bfg terrain takeover on the slabs
