Hell yeah buddy thanks for posting the pics! I was super impressed by your truck and it gave me a ton of ideas. ill dump my pics in my build thread tonight. i have quite a few of you.

Sweet! I can't wait to see them! We gotta get that carb of yours dialed in then it will be good to go. maybe a rebuild or something along those lines. I've got one for a friend I'm about to dive into

As was I

oh and Zak, my kingpins (springless) needed to be tightened a little more, that was causing the "twerking" that your gf was talking about :haha: When we left the road from Loon it had crazy death wobble.

There was a twerk contest?

Yeah no kidding! I might try to find a junkyard tbi setup if its not too much of a hassle.

yep, some white square ass bouncing down the trail apparently.

Those go quick in the yards around here. I'd be interested to see what a pick n pull would charge as their pricing will nickle and dime you.

Not all carbs are bad, mine ran great the whole weekend. Would lug down and idle over just about everything. My tail lenses are looking good a new now as well :D

Well, We have been wheeling. We ran a pretty tough trail in our area that nobody thought the truck would fit down but we made with a few new dents. The truck ran like a top. Will post pics later and elaborate on the trip.

This run was back in mid July I think. Here are some pictures of a mild day trip, we went down this trail that was maintained by an atv group so it got pretty narrow between fallen trees. I didn't have my co driver so pictures were limited but the trail was so cool. It was remote and looked as though it had not been ran in quite a while. A fire had gone through the area i think about 5 or 6 years ago so the trees were all burnt. It was pretty cool seeing the forest rebuilding.

Custom mirror

A wider view of the trail and fire damage

Some little rock action that was replaced after fire crews had come through

This was looking out the front of the blazer on the trail

This is where we ended up turning around on the trail to head back out another way

It wasn't a crazy trip but just to get out and have some fun.

Driving out in the dusk

More pictures to come from a harder birthday run!

Man those pic`s look like your Blazer works real good!

Love that one of it all flexed out from the back! :thumb:

Update, last weekend was our local trail clean up run. So we went up after work Saturday, met up with a group and wheeled around working on the trails. Then there was a raffle and dinner on the trail. When we were wheeling out Saturday night we broke off a helper leaf on the driver fronot leaf pack and it was just us on the trail. Luckily it only made the front more flexy and sag a little. Sunday we wheeled around pretty much all day with the saggy spring. Will post pictures this afternoon.
This week I replaced the broken leaf and installed a new ho alternator and tightened up the ps pump belt.

Before the trip I changed the trans and t case oils. The trans had been making some noise and will likely get rebuilt this winter.
Dirty gear oil

While i was changing the oil I cleaned up the skid plate and repainted it, here is the front half

lifted the truck up to fill the rear tcase

Broken leaf pack

The front of this leaf got caught on a rock I think and was pulled back.

All Smiles

It was prefect weather out while we were climbing a ridge. The closer lake is campbell lake and the one behind the trees is long lake.

I also have been collecting some new front end parts

damn thing is turning into a leaf spring eater

I know but this is the last original spring that came from the rear of this truck. Some custom springs would be sweet but these are working out for the most part haha
