Spent around 2 hours driving down random logging and fire and idk what dirt roads. This was after I spent the afternoon at the high lakes and hit one of the harder trails with no problems. It was pretty fun got a little scrape on the side of the Jimmy but not that bad. I have more pics I can upload later

Haha. I've got some old ish videos I need to upload
Would be sweet if you did. Not sure I'm willing to ramrod a straight K10 longbed through there just to see Rubicon

Is it that tight for a full sized?

It would be pretty tight but I think doable to go through without any damage. I went through a squeeze spot right before Rubicon springs and got pretty much the whole passenger side scraped up a little. There is a bypass around it that the other k5side I was with took that I didn't know about. Haha

If you are still looking for a battery suggestion do a little research on the Sears Diehard AGM batteries. At one point they were the same batteries as Odyssey but much cheaper. Odyssey/Diehard 34/78 series is what you want to look up to get more info. They are on par with or maybe even better than the Optimas. Optima used to make a really good battery a number of years ago but I've heard the new ones aren't as well made or have as long of a life.

And if you happen to need a battery box for this battery Ruffstuff makes one

@truck-oholic yes! Thank you for the response, I'm still just looking around but will check into those. I've heard rumors about optima's quality dropping

Why not just run a regular battery?

Martin
I'm not sure. I have a refurbished battery that I've been running and I'm getting ready to install a stero and more lights. So I just figured it was something I should upgrade before it lets go
