75 Jimmy build FOOLSIZE (time to wheel)

Wheelbase: 108" Width F/R: 89.5" / 88" 3 link -upper: 32" -lowers: 32.5" -vert sep: 8.5" -panhard: 38" 4link -uppers:38.5" -lowers: 40" -vert sep: 9.5" Front DS 1410 HADCV ride: 33" Rear DS 1410 ride: 38"
Well it is done and works awesome! Took it for a 2 day trip. Did some crawling, dirt/snow road bombing and had a blast. The front is 3 linked with icons and rear is 4 linked with kings. Cage is now solid mounted to the frame to support the coilovers. The front driver coil tower landed right where the steering shaft was. I didn't want to go full hydro so my builder had to get creative with the steering and I wanted to keep the high steer so it ended up being the ruff stuff style Y. I'll write and post more pictures later

So a run down of what the 3 link consists of:
Artec truss & high steer arms
Ruff stuff style Y steering w/ 1.75" psc ram, I didn't want to drop the steering down to the stock location.
Ruff stuff coil towers and link brackets
Slag factory engine brace
2.5" 14" Icons
Poly bumps for now
Removed the engine x member to gain a little more up travel
HAD 1410 BAMF front shaft to accommodate the increased wheel travel

Will get link measurements in the next weeks. Right now it's all 2" .25 wall but planning on sleeving the lowers asap

King of the hammers! First off it was a blast, tons of cool people and bad ass rigs! Got to meet up with a few guys from the forum and other full size rigs not on here. We wheeled some fun trails, watched some racing and enjoyed some vacation.
We loaded the camper up Saturday before race week. Sunday we drove from Petaluma to chico to pick up the jimmy and head towards the lakebed.

We arrived mid day Monday unloaded the jimmy and set up camp. I drove the whole time from chico to the lake bed about 9 hours and didn't want to sit in a truck anymore so we just kicked back and watched some qualifying I think?
We got the cabover situated, our first time using it since purchased in the fall. Everything worked killer in it.
Went and watched the shoot out Monday night.

(We didn't take many pictures wheelin and still working on getting pictures from friends)

So my normal group of wheelers only have rzr's now and they would rather not venture into the rocks with them.

I met up with @r3dd0g and we ran turkey claw. It was packed! Non race trail so everyone runs it. I ended up with a line of buggies/Toyotas behind me after a jeep in front of our group got unstuck. I rushed through a squeeze point on the trail and ripped my passenger tail housing off. Only slightly cracked the lens but ripped the sheetmetal holding it on off the body.

Wednesday

We went and tooled around in the desert/rocks. We drove along the base of some mtns north of backdoor. No named trails but drove up some washes with rocks and down them. Found a big rock we could drive on. And checked out clearances a little on the rig.

On the cruise back to camp we hit a pretty smooth lake bed and I was able to hit 4th wide open.

@ktmoutfront thank you for the ride in your rig! It was awesome and a badass setup!

Wednesday night we went over to chocolate thunder. Seemed to be a constant 12 rigs on the trail. We got stuck behind a jeep with broken main leaf and a rzr that tried to pass the jeep broke too. Then a buggy came up to pass, had a flat. So I offered to air him up, he left. Then we went up and out no problem. Watched a newer 4 door jk roll and then an overlander landcruiser go up and get stuck then turn around. Overall it was pretty fun to watch

That just looks like one huge cluster f&*k there!

It totally was but was fun to sit back and watch people roll their rigs.

Thursday we went wheeling again. Up turkey claw and onto sos. My friend got a bunch of pictures, working on getting them still. About 2/3rds the way up we met 2 buggies coming down that said they couldn't make it out the top.

Last I have for now. Carnage ended up being bent lower link mount on driver side, cracked slider at frame, tore off tail lens brackets, steering bushing popped out, fan eating alum shroud and then some
