75 K-5 5.3 LS transplant [with pics]

I should get it back sometime next week.
\I told him to take his time, I'm working on other projects and need the room in the garage.

Just got the Blazer back from Thorley. Here are a few pics.

Sorry for the size of the pics.

\

They look good in the pics.
What is the price of them?
Are those full length or mid length headers?
How far do they hang down?
Do they clear everything ok?

Don't know the price ,guess it to be around $700.00 or so.
There seems to bee enough room around the spark plugs.
\And in the one pic, they kept the flang away from the right-hand shackle.
\Don't look like a fullheader, more like a 3/4.

They look a lot like the S&P ones I got the end of last year. If that is the cost they will be about the same as I paid. Looks like they have a 3 bolt collector on them. Can they do them with a V clap collector, that so what i got.

I did call them about some headers but they never would return my calls. Glad to see that you finally got some.

since then the blazer has been sitting a lot. No time to play with it too busy working, but soon I'll be redoing the dash for one of those DIY4X models

I really like the look of the headers, what do you plan on doing to the dash?

\A DIY4X dash but I would like to put the fuse box up by the glove box. As in make the door wider to access the fuse there rather than sticking my head underneath the dash like it's been designed forever. I ever could understand that:doah:
\
\I just need to settle on a fuse box and wiring harness. Any sugesstions?

BC,

I agree, working sucks.:doah:

Glad to see that you have great plans for your K5.

I can defintely vouch for the DIY dash. Kurt will build that dash to your exact specifications.

The hardest part for me was narrowing down which wires went to what?

Long story short, I made a diagram of the connector that plugs into the printed circuit board of the OEM gauge cluster. My diagram shows signal wires to the gauges, high beam indicator, turn signals, etc. Let me know if you need that information, I can scan it for you.:waytogo:
