Well it's supposed to be 98* here today so I'd say it's summer... where's the pics of this sucker on your truck? :D

the work is currently in progress but i have to find my camera so i can get some pictures i hope to have the transmission out tonight

So i pulled my engine out to change out the camshaft and rod bolts. I discovered a little more internal damage than i want so the block is now at the machine shop getting bored and balanced.

To get the motor out it took a bit of lowering of my truck

Thank you for painting the block orange by the way. All SBC's should be orange. BBC's as well.

Just Wondering...

Do you think that a 3" body lift would help with some of the clearance issues with the AC and the exaust? I was thinking of finding a way to mount the motor mounts a couple inches higher that way the AC and exaust wouldnt hit the frame. Nice swap. How is that whipple charger coming along? Did you use the stock wiring harness? What did you do about all the guages? I was also going to retro fit the instrument cluster out of my donor '01 into a blank dash panel.

Body lifts only raise the body and the clearance issues are with the frame so it
would not help you at all.

well it has been a while so i figured i would throw up some pics of what i have recently done to this truck, After having my breaks go out while wheeling i decided to re do my brakes and get rid of the rear drums.
