I really wanted to get this running not just to hear it again but because it has sat so long without oil being circulated throughout, and also my brother is visiting for thanksgiving and he’s worked on a bunch of these engines, but yes always a great motivator.

Right on Dean, neers were consumed and I have a feeling my liver numbers will be up a bit on my next blood test....
I need to get the trans back in the Maiden and get her right again, then it will be my main project to work on this!

The proper term is a Cummins swap.
I diesel swap is what I did on my suburban, a 6.2l turbo diesel swap.

Ok Now I am awakened, I guess the Maiden has made me her bitch with the T400 issues, my incompetence in the beginning then the disintegrated torque converter sprag and the latest iteration of the broken pump gears.....I’m becoming all too familiar with R&R on the trans. Just glad I don’t have to do it on the floor anymore!
