Fwiw, I got clobbered at work too, just walked in the door
 
I was off today but there were so many distractions and I don't get paid till Monday (which sucks) so I had to hold off on getting some parts for this pig. :angry1:
 
Had to change directions a bit while I wait for parts. decided to gut my interior and get it prepped for a new passenger side floorpan. Apparently the heater core had been leaking for a while before I replaced it about a year ago. I have an old highway department truck that was a manual trans that I'll cut up for this. When I did my nv4500 swap I was on a tight schedule and did t get to finish the transmission hump like I wanted to so this will work out good. The donor truck also has door panels and a seat that I'll use. at least for now I won't send sparks into the cab and catch it on fire. Should be able to order parts on Monday to finish up the front suspension. Need a new steering box, valve covers that don't say moroso and leak oil, a pitman arm, and I'm ditching the saddle tanks in favor of a 40 gallon tween the rails tank. :waytogo:

Here's the donor seat and if you squint your eyes and look past the reflection in the window you can almost see the nice rust free floorpan! Just noticed someone hacked a t-case shifter hole in it... Oh well. I can patch that pretty easy.

Anyone have 6x9s in their cab corners behind the seat? Trying to decide what to do with mine.
 
I have my speakers behind the seat. Sure if muffles them, I'm deaf as all get out, just dime the volume

Actually going to run the .125" coaxial cable out for the CB aux speaker to the radio so I can hear the thing
 
I have short legs though, seat is not all the way back
 
This sucks... Lol our vacuum cleaner crapped out so I had to spend some $$$ on a new one. Was figuring I'd end up dropping a couple hundred at least on a new one BUT Home Depot had this one on sale for $88.00. Happy wife happy life AND I still have some parts $$$ left over. Haha!

Same here... Funny thing is the only thing I got done this weekend was vacuum out the cab and clean up in and out of the garage before I sent a spark into a pile of leaves from the neighbors trees! Didn't get to order parts last week because my check wasn't quite as big as I was hoping for last month. I did get a bunch of stuff listed on Craigslist and that turned out to be a wise choice so far. Out of all the stuff I put on there I've had 4 people wanting the Suzuki samurai 1.3 engine! When that's gone I'll be able to order some stuff. If it all sells I'll have enough for the parts I need + a goody box from fitech
