77 C20 hauler to crawler

I think mine ended up 1.5" forward, essentially keeping the rear spring eye in the same place as stock

I'm taking a snow day. Might get something done! Woke up to a few inches of snow and the wind blowing, and my 30 mile commute in my crawler. Not scared.... THEN... Shut my seatbelt in the door which jammed the latch. Fixed that. Then I shift into 4wd... Broke my shift cable. Then!!!! The interstate was closed. Awwwww darn it....
:D

We call that a blessing. Curl up next to mama and go back to bed

Guess what I got done today!!! NOTHING... :angry1: Actually I did some cleaning so my father in law could build a dresser with my 15 year old. It's looking nice and the sawdust should clean up my floor real nice! Oh and I was in on a few hijackings. So all in all it was an ok day. :waytogo:

Place turned to :poo: in a hurry!

How much snow?
Lol in my defense it was already heading downhill. We only got maybe 4" but it all blew around for a while and melted down to an inch or 2. Roads were nasty and the interstate south (the way I was headed) was closed most of the day. By the time it opened I would have been heading home.

Got the frame braced and the shackle bushings in. Didn't have much time to mess with it. Almost worthy of supporting itself though. Everything is just tacked in place right now. Hopefully all of this works right! Gona be ticked if it sucks! I know I'll have plenty of suspension travel but I'm stressed about axle wrap. I have an idea on an anti wrap bar though.

Dingus attachmus such as anti wrapper thingy? Idk yet... It's still in idea form. In my head it works flawlessly and only took me a couple minutes to make! In reality it will probably be one of those things that I'll waste a day on only to huck it into the scrap bin where it will mock me for the next 6 months until I make another scrap run and get sweet sweet revenge as it vanishes forever!

Haha yeah I'm hoping it works but who knows. Nothing special really. Something like this with an itsy bitsy Johnny joint at the end

Why is it that fastenal is the only place I can find 9/16 bolts??? Thought about going metric but that just seems dumb...

Yeah, I have an Ace hardware close by. Only place I buy bolts.

But I don't have a pet Jackalope either

We have a few places but they told me "that's an odd size for a bolt so we don't stock them, but we can order them if you want to pay shipping." I was in casper today and checked Home Depot and menards but they don't even carry them! Lol but we have jackalopes! All over the place! Clutch even wrote a song about a jackalope!
All that without 9/16 bolts... Ok done ranting....

Yeah those bastards dont carry anything 9/16. I had to go to a special hardware store that does fasteners only. You could probably get them off summit...have em by tuesday.
