Link didnt work cuz I'm a dummy
After I almost busted my windshield out with the engine hoist I finally wrestled this thing into place! Splines lined up perfect somehow and it slid right in.![]()

haha sorry man! If it matters to you... I shouldn't have tackled it on my own and I'm glad i have concrete! My head hurts from the 50-60 times I bounced it off the factory exhaust hanger, and the three times (that I know of) that I smacked it on my engine hoist.Care to come show me how it's done? I still don't have mine in after several hours of messing with it.![]()

I try not to complain too much about my garage being too small because growing up we didn't have a garage and my dad had the bright idea to use crushed rock in our driveway... Not only did I get to shovel it all in by hand but I also got to do 90% of the maintenance and repairs on our vehicles after he suffered a back injury. I think he was milkin it. Sissy couldn't handle 3 fused disks in his lower back.Concrete = wonderful. Total game changer to have a roof, walls, and a FLOOR to work inside.![]()
Thanks man! Yeah I think I can make them work good still. They definitely aren't ideal for what I'm building but it's all good.looks like it's at home, nice job
Yeah if those collectors clocked up 45 degrees they'd be money

Yeah and rocks don't make their way in your crack as easy as sand.Thankfulness is a matter of perspective. I'd gladly trade shops with you. But my younger apartment-renting self would gladly trade places with my current self. I remind myself each time that I hate crawling through a sandbox to get under the truck.
P.S. - I also grew up doing repairs on crushed rock. I can't say that it's great, but in some ways I'd prefer that to the loose sand. The positive side of the sand is that I should be able to lay down a concrete pad pretty easily if I ever decide it's worthwhile.![]()

Scoop it out and send it to Nebraska! They love the siltNo kidding. I wind up in the shower after each shop day, even if i just go out for a short time. The sand is relentless. Poor septic tank.![]()
